FROM THE ADMINISTRATORS DESK
MACON MOOSE LODGE

December was a busy month and a fast moving month. In fact, this year has really passed by fast. Hopefully, all of you had a Merry Christmas and look forward to a Happy and Healthy New Year.
Not any special events happening in January at the lodge. Please note on Friday, January 19, I will not be cooking the usual catfish dinner. Instead we will have fried and boiled shrimp instead of fish and roasted potatoes in lieu of french fries. Beef Stew will be the second choice that night.
We had a large turnout at the Membership Event held on Friday, December 22. Everyone who attended had paid by the December 15 deadline and therefore, we could prepare the correct amount of food needed. I would like to thank Alan Funderburke for being the DJ for the night. Everyone danced to the songs they enjoyed. It was good to see some of the members who had not been to the lodge in a while.
With the new year starting I hope more members will come socialize with us
on Wednesday and Friday nights. This past Friday night was a really good night for the lodge as we had a full house and several new faces. Please continue to support our Lodge.
Again, HAPPY NEW YEAR and we look forward to seeing you throughout 2018.

Fraternally,
Jim Boyer, Lodge Administrator
